Fresh beginnings!

Journal Entry: Thu Jun 11, 2009, 7:58 AM

Well, first of all I would like to say a big warm hello to the dA community, it's certainly good to be back.

I was formerly mews-graphics on here but wanted a change, as a lot has changed since I upheld my last account. I have a brand spanking new online portfolio which you can view by clicking the link at the top of this entry. Thank you to CrisNMP for all of his help recently, he's been great. I'm available for freelance work, big or small, at any time so feel free to drop me an email or phone call given on the contact page of the site.

Well I've finished the first year of my degree now and things are starting to come together, from not having a clue what to do with my life, to getting things organized (which is unlike me). I've organized some work experience with a local design agency who appear to be doing rather well for themselves (site: [link]). I start next Monday (15th of June) for a week so it should be a great opportunity to get some experience in the industry.

I'm focused on learning more about Adobe Illustrator as I have pretty good grounding in Photoshop, I hope it opens up more doors for me in terms of design. If anyone has any tips for me on my work, please comment and tell me them, they would be much appreciated.

Anyway, I'm in the process of moving out of my Uni House so I have to continue packing etc. I just wanted to say hello to dA once more and I hope I meet some new faces and brilliant artists.

Thanks for reading,
Max

And this is why, Mother Earth, I wept inwardly for thee at the moment of the immense parade called Time: the clowns were passing, and everybody knows that inside, somwhere, their hearts are broken.

No probs!

How does it feel, being back? Anything like going back to your uni house after the end of the holidays? :) Glad to be back, but you know you have to do those essential boring things, like get leccy, bread e.t.c?
